Los Angeles, the City of Stars

Los Angeles is the largest city in California and the second largest city in the United States. It is located on the Southern Coast of California approximately 120 km north of the Mexican border and 640 km South of San Francisco.

Hollywood is home to movie stars, it is the most famous community in Los Angeles. Of course, this is what most people know about, but there is also the cultural city, with large auditoriums of music, museums, and architecture, although recent, spectacular.

Traveling to Los Angeles is synonymous with visiting Hollywood. It is well-known movie industry makes this district the great tourist attraction of the city. It is currently the cradle of the world cinema.

The best way to see Hollywood is by taking a walking tour. Most of the attractions are located a few meters from Mann’s Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard. The courtyard of the Chinese Theater, as it is known in the city, is one of the most popular attractions for all the footprints and handprints stamped on the floor of all the Hollywood celebrities since 1927 and it is known as “Walk of Fame” and they were honoured with a star with their name on it.

Downtown: the heart of Los Angeles is here and you will find:

Town Hall:

this emblematic building is in records for countless cinematographic productions; among them the well-known film of Spiderman. Its location is on Spring Street and can be visited free of charge from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Only for the view that it offers of the city, is recommended your visit.

Walt Disney Center Hall:

This is one of the most important auditoriums in the city. This impressive concert hall has a capacity of 2,265 people and among other functions; it is the headquarters of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and the Los Angeles Choir.

Its location is on Grand Avenue and you can visit the musical center with a guide or an hour-long recording. Visit with an audio guide from 10 am to 4 pm. Tours with a guide from 12 am to 13 pm. Tours throughout the musical complex from 10:30 am to 12:30 am.

Beverly Hills:

It is the quintessential neighborhood of Hollywood starts. This exotic district houses large mansions and spectacular villas where many media stars are there. It is not strange to find more than one known face of the big screen if you take a walk in this area. Here you can visit:

Warner Brothers

Warner Brothers are one of the most important film studios in the world. You can have a guided tour of 3 hours in your language for each of the guides. The route will take you through the mythical TV scenarios and movies that producer has generated, for example, you can enter one of the houses of the famous TV serried Friends or get on the Happy Potter broom to take a photo.

Rodeo Drive and Cannon Drive:

it is the best-known shopping street in Beverly Hills. Rodeo Drive hosts a wealth of trendy shops, bars, and restaurants. When you walk through Rodeo Drive you can feel the luxury that is breathing in the environment. One of its neighboring streets is Cannon Drive, famous for its exquisite restaurants.

Griffith Park:

With its Planetarium is located on the edge of Hollywood. It has recreational facilities, natural areas, and several family attractions. You can go horseback riding on Pony, nature walks or Scenic Park rides by car. This park has an excellent view of the famous Hollywood sign over the mountains.

The planetarium and observatory offer science exhibits and various shows through the day and is a very popular place to see the light of Los Angeles City at nightfall.
